Former Ireland captain Trent Johnston is heading back to Australia after accepting a coaching role with Cricket New South Wales.
The 40-year old has been an integral figure within Irish Cricket for the past decade, and had been coach of the international women's side and Leinster Lightning in the Newstalk Inter-provincial series.
Johnston will perform a dual role for New South Wales, assisting senior coach Trevor Bayliss as well as Pathway coach.
