The FA Cup Final will take place at Wembley on Saturday August 1st, provided football's resumption in England goes smoothly.
The football calendar has been upended by the coronavirus pandemic, with the Premier League confirming yesterday that they will resume activity on June 17th.
There are eight teams left in the FA Cup, with a quarter final line up as follows:
Leicester City v Chelsea
Newcastle United v Manchester City
Sheffield United v Arsenal
Norwich City v Manchester United
These last eight ties are scheduled for Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th.
The semi finals have been scheduled for Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th.
Venues and times will be confirmed in due course.
The FA's CEO Mark Bullingham said:
"We are pleased to agree the provisional restart date for the 2019-20 Emirates FA Cup.
"The competition has been an integral part of the English football calendar for nearly 150 years, and we’d like to thank the Premier League executive and clubs for their support in scheduling the remaining matches during this unprecedented time.
"This has been a difficult period for many people and, while this is a positive step, the restart date is dependent on all safety measures being met. The health and well being of players, staff and supporters remains our priority.”
The FA Cup has been staged every year since 1946, after the end of the Second World War.
