The 2019-20 FA Cup third round will play host to the Merseyside derby.
Monday night's draw for January's traditional curtain-raiser for the leading clubs pitted Everton and Liverpool together.
The Liverpudlian clubs are in Merseyside derby action on Wednesday night in the Premier League at Anfield.
But they won't have to wait long to renew acquaintances after the FA Cup draw. And it will also be at Anfield once again.
The tie will be played on the weekend of January 3rd to 6th.
Meanwhile, Manchester United also face an all-Premier League tie. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side visit Wolves, while Chelsea host Nottingham Forest.
Manchester City also welcome lower league opposition to the Etihad when they take on Port Vale. Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho takes his Tottenham side to Middlesbrough.
Out-of-form Arsenal host Championship high-flyers Leeds United. Premier League surprise package Leicester City will also face Championship opposition with Wigan visiting the King Power Stadium.
Sheffield United's Irish contingent will face non-league opponents in the shape of AFC Fylde. Meanwhile, Newcastle will face the winner of the tie between Rochdale and Boston United.
