Ireland host to Fiji at Thomond Park this evening in the second game of their November International Series.

Since the match is not an official test match it is a good opportunity for Ireland to rest the first team and bring fringe players into the starting XV.

Out-half Paddy Jackson is one of six Ulster players in the starting side, with fellow youngsters Iain Henderson, Luke Marshall and Craig Gilroy also getting a chance to impress.

Nine of the starters have less than 20 caps between them as the big guns prepare for the crucial Argentina clash.

Errors

But Leinster"s Mike Ross is in at loosehead prop despite playing in the defeat to South Africa last Saturday.

The 32-year-old made a number of errors against the Springboks and will hope to make amends against the visitors.

Captain Jamie Heaslip will lead out the side again while Donnacha O"Callaghan gets a run out from the start.

Ireland has never lost to Fiji in four previous encounters and will be expected to win comfortably again particularly if they can assert a measure of control over the Islanders" unstructured game.

Kick-off in Limerick is 5.30.

Ireland"s XV:

Hurley, McFadden, Cave, Marshal, Gilroy, Jackson,Murray,Kilcoyne, Cronin, Ross, O’Callaghan, Tuohy,Henderson, Muldoon, Heaslip.
