Fiona Doyle has reached the semi-finals of the 50 metres breaststroke at the World Swimming Championship, in Barcelona, and broken an Irish record in the process.
Doyle broke the record with a time of 30.93 in today’s heat, which means she now holds the Irish records at 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke.
The semi-final takes places later today, at 5.26 pm.
