Steven Gerrard put the Reds into the lead with a penalty after Kemy Agustien brought down Luis Suarez.

Phillipe Coutinho then scored his first goal for the club to make it 2 - 0 just after half-time, before Jose Enrique completed a fine team move to put Liverpool three clear.

Luis Suarez and a Daniel Sturridge penalty put some gloss on the scoreline late on.

The result moves the Reds up to seventh in the table a place above their opponents. It is also Liverpool's first win over Top Ten opposition this season.
