Former England cricket captain Tony Greig has died after suffering a heart attack.

The 66-year old had been battling lung cancer, before passing away in Australia last night.

South African born all-rounder Greig played 58 Tests for England - leading them in 14.

He was also an influential figure in the formation of the controversial World Series Cricket tournament in the late 1970's.
