France winger Teddy Tomas will miss Saturday's Six Nations game against Ireland in Paris due to a hamstring injury.

The Racing 92 winger scored a try in the 38-21 win over Wales at the weekend but he has been ruled out of the game against Andy Farrell's side.

Thomas has been replaced by Bordeaux out-half Mathieu Jalibert and there is also doubt over the fitness of first-choice fullback Anthony Bouthier, who was replaced at half-time against the Welsh.

A statement from the French Rugby Federation said Bouthier suffered "a suspected concussion" and is now following the return-to-play protocols.

France head coach Fabien Galthié is likely to turn to Toulouse’s Thomas Ramos if Saturday comes too quickly for Bouthier.

Galthié will also find out later today if back row Bernard Le Roux will be available for the title-deciding clash in the French capital.

Le Roux was cited for "striking with the arm" against Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones and will learn his fate at today’s hearing.

Ireland will be without Garry Ringrose after the Leinster centre suffered a broken jaw on Saturday against Italy, an injury that has also ruled him out of the Nations Cup games against Wales, England and Georgia next month.

A bonus-point win would see Andy Farrell's side regain the title and win a fourth Six Nations in seven years.
