When Sky Sports first broadcast GAA matches in the UK earlier this summer, the response from viewers was a brilliant mixture of bemusement and fascination.
One of the standout quips was "a bit Game of Thrones innit".
But if the evidence of one online conversation is to be taken into account, it looks like interest in GAA is growing and becoming ever more rational as winter is coming:
