Kildares Roseanne Galligan has finished well outside the top 3 in her heat of the 800 metres at the World Championships in Moscow.
The Irish record holder will not get through as a fastest loser having finished second last.
Despitye todays dissapointment 2013 has been an encouraging season for Newbridge athlete representing Ireland at both the European Indoor and World Outdoor Championships.

This performance and the experience from running at these World Championships will stand to Galligan for next years European Championships in Zurich.
Ireland’s final competitor at these championships will be Paul Pollock who goes in the marathon on Saturday.
