Four-time All Ireland winner Paul Galvin has been ratified as the new Wexford senior football manager on a two-year term.
The 2009 Footballer of the Year was put forward for the position last month, and Wexford GAA confirmed last night that Galvin will take charge of the team in 2020.
Galvin's backroom team includes former Wexford star Mattie Forde as well as Shane Roche, Tadhg O’Donoghue and Eamon Sayers.
Wexford finished in fifth place in Division 4 of the National League last season and only had two championship outings during the summer, losing to Louth and Derry.
