Gary Neville says he is being judged too soon as a defeat at Real Betis extended his winless La Liga streak in charge of Valencia to nine games.
The former Manchester United full-back was already under severe pressure after a 7-0 loss at Barcelona in the Copa del Rey midweek and was sorely in need of a win to ease the turmoil around the club.
Reacting to another defeat, the ex-Sky Sports football pundit insists that now isn't the time to judge him, adding that "it's clear that we are better than some of the teams we are playing against".
"I said before I came that I would be judged in five months," he said.
"I have been judged in six weeks."
