Gennaro Gattuso will not be the next boss of Tottenham according to reports, with the club still seeking a replacement for Jose Mourinho.
The Athletic claims that the Italian World Cup winner, who recently quit Fiorentina, will not be offered the job.
Gattuso is believed to have held talks with the Spurs hierarchy, as the deal to hire Paulo Fonseca hit a roadblock.
Tottenham have recently appointed a managing director, Fabio Paratici, who is to work with the incoming boss. He has spoken to Fonseca and Gattuso.
