Like anyone who was watching yesterday's big game between Liverpool and Manchester City, Pat Nevin is just catching his breath.
The Everton and Chelsea legend was at Anfield for the 3 - 2 win - a game which had everything from the emotion of the Hillsborough anniversary to the excitement on the pitch.
While Pat discussed the effect the fans and the emotion could have had on the Liverpool players, he reserved plenty of attention for the performance of Steven Gerrard within the whirlwind.
"I could not keep my eyes off one man. I could not keep my eyes off Steven Gerrard. His movement, his reactions. He was controlled but possessed and it was an extraordinary thing to see," said Pat, who is impressed by the way the Liverpool captain is drawing from the well within his ageing body.
Pat also gave us his analysis of the Liverpool tactical approach and how the forward players have been unleashed to create maximum damage to opposition defences.
But he felt that front pairing Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge were largely unimpressive yesterday and in the latter's case, Pat believes his first touch has been "awful" in recent weeks, wondering whether the pressure has started to get to him.
Pat added that Suarez looked "leggy" and "sluggish" which he feels could be a slight concern at the end of an intense season.
Pat also praised Brendan Rodgers for the way he has deflected pressure away from the players as scrutiny and attention mounts on the squad.
He also turned his attention to Manchester City and pondered whether the defeat is a death knell for their title hopes, especially with Yaya Toure potentially missing the rest of the season.
