Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has confirmed the banishing of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari from the team camp.

Ahead of tonight's clash with Portugal the Ghanaian squad insisted that they receive their World cup payments in cash while in the last 24 hours stories had spread that Muntari assaulted a Ghanaian official.

The Ghanaian FA also claim that Boateng verbally abused the manager.

Ghana face Portugal tonight in a must-win final group game as they look to reach the last-16.
