The 19 year olds coach, Ronald Claes, was let go by Swim Ireland as part of restructuring.

The restructuring also saw their training group at Limerick cut.

According to the Irish Independent Murphy is now training at a 25 metre pool at New Ross with new coach Fran Ronan.

It was thought that Murphy may train abroad but that has not yet happened. 

Murphy has her sights set on the Rio Olympics in 2016.
