Jamie Heaslip will captain Ireland for the first time this saturday when South Africa provide the opposition in the first of the Guinness series of autumn internationals at the Aviva Stadium.
Declan Kidney has named Simon Zebo at full back with Mike McCarthy in the second row, while New Zealander Michael Bent will be on the replacements bench alongside Donnacha O"Callaghan and Ronan O"Gara.
Ireland will be without some big names, including Paul O"Connell, Brian O"Driscoll, Rob Kearney and Stephen Ferris and the squd includes four debutants
