Hull City have agreed a fee with West Brom for Ireland striker Shane Long.

The Tipperary man almost joined the Tigers in the last transfer window and has been sought by them since the opening of the latest transfer period.

But according to Sky Sports, a deal has been struck:

It has already been a busy day for Tigers Boss Steve Bruce has captured Nikica Jelavic from Everton. The fee is £6.5 million (€7.8 million).

He told a Croatian newspaper that "The club suits me and I'm happy that the clubs have found an agreement for my transfer."
