Hurricane Fly ' was an easy winner in the Istabraq Festival Hurdle which was the feature on the final day of the Christmas Festival at Leopardstown.

Ruby Walsh steered the 2011 Champion Hurdle winner to a seven length victory over ' Unaccompanied '.

Winning trainer Willie Mullins also saddled third place ' Thousand Stars '.

It was a day to remember for the Mullins family after Patrick broke the long-standing record for the number of winners from an amateur jockey in a calendar year in Ireland.

He won on board ' Zuzka ' in the Mares Hurdle to make it win number 73 in 2012.
