"Do you think you need to ask?" is what Manchester United Manager David Moyes had to say when questioned about Wayne Rooney and if the fans would like to hear the player himself to confirm he's not going to Chelsea and doesn't want to leave.

Rooney was the main talking point out of last nights scoreless draw between the two at Old Trafford after which Moyes entertained a few questions on Rooney before the press officer felt the need to dive in pleading for the gathered press to move on.

The game itself wasn't much to look at but Moyes insists they tried to create chances and play decent football, he was after all looking for a first win at Old Trafford and a first win over Jose Mourinho as a manager.
