Ahead of UFC 194, one of the most intriguing parts of the build-up was Conor McGregor bringing movement coach Ido Portal into his backroom team.
Portal worked with McGregor and Gunnar Nelson ahead of their fight's last weekend, with many people questioning the Israeli's methods.
The self proclaimed "movement artist" took to his Facebook account earlier today to discuss his role in McGregor's camp and admits that the blame may have been place on his shoulders by the public had the Dubliner lost.
He wrote: "If Conor lost - I would be the man to take the blame as I am the new factor in the equation and doing things differently. I can take that and as they say - 'if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen' but... He won. I don't want to take the credit for that. Conor is his own man."
In the Facebook post, he praises McGregor and Nelson. He also pays special attention to SBG coach John Kavanagh, whom he calls "a unique individual - a great mind and a major reason this whole team is so amazing"
A LOT of attention we are getting in the last few days.Thousands of messages a day, offers, etc so please bare with...
