Ireland have missed out on qualification for the semi-finals of the European championships in Belgium following a 2 - 2 with draw with England.

Andrew Meredith's team were 2-0 down at the break but two penlaties from Shane O'Donoughue dragged the Irish back in however a draw was not enough to progres. 

Ireland had beaten Poland 4 - 2 yesterday, following a defeat a 2 - 1 to Holland the previous day.
