Birmingham City have added to their growing Irish contingent.
The FA Women's Super League side have signed Emily Whelan and Eleanor Ryan-Doyle.
Both players were free agents after recently leaving Shelbourne and Peamount United respectively.
Whelan and Ryan-Doyle have signed one-year deals at Birmingham, where they'll link up with Republic of Ireland defender Louise Quinn and another Shelbourne youth product in Jamie Finn.
Quinn was named captain shortly after her signing in July.
Seven goals during the month of May for Peamount saw Ryan-Doyle named SSE Airtricity Women's National League Player of the Month.
“I am excited to start my professional career at Blues and excited to see where it will take me and how I will progress with my football," Ryan-Doyle said.
“[Birmingham boss] Scott [Booth] has told me about his plans for the season and what the team’s ambitions are, which is something that I wanted to be a part of.”
Whelan's versatility has seen her snapped up by Booth.
She's been used as a forward of late, but can also play in defence and midfield.
“I am really excited for the upcoming season and I will do my best to help the team," Whelan told the Birmingham website, "I will do everything I can to help us get to where we want to be.
"It's a big step up but I am willing to work hard and give it everything I've got."
Ryan-Doyle and Whelan both go straight into the Birmingham squad for their FA Women's Super League game with Tottenham on Saturday.
