Former Munster hooker Frankie Sheahan believes Saracens will be relishing the prospect of visiting Thomond Park on Saturday evening but if Munster can get their own game sorted out, and get the crowd behind them early on, then they will stand a fighting chance of taking a hugely valuable win in the Heineken Cup pool match.

The former Irish international believes Clermont Auvergne have been very unlucky in recent years and that factor, allied with an intense French crowd at the Stade Marcel Michel, will give an already excellent side an almost unstoppable psychological drive to win against Leinster on Sunday afternoon.

If Leinster are to have hope, Sheahan says, they “have to use all their experience…play at their speed, at their pace” and frustrate the French side.

Sheahan has been speaking to Newstalk’s Oisin Langan and went over the key battles that will decide a crucial weekend of Heineken Cup rugby for all four provinces.
