It was revealed yesterday that Nicky O'Connell has rejoined the Clare senior hurling panel.

O'Connell, along with Davy O'Halloran were dropped from Davy Fitzgerald's squad for breaching the Clare squads "Code of Conduct".

On Newstalk Breakfast this morning, Shane Coleman was joined by Cork camogie captain Ashling Thompson, former Wexford captain and TG4 analyst Diarmuid Lyng and by former Armagh footballer and Managing Director of Motiv8 Performance Excellence Enda McNulty.

They discuss the situation in Clare, the pressures on the modern player, if it's time for county players to become professional and the effects professionalism may have on GAA clubs around the country.
