Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes has agreed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club to take him through to 2025.

The academy graduate has made 101 appearances for the Foxes in all competitions, scoring 21 goals.

Barnes joined the club when he was nine and was handed his first-team debut in 2016 against FC Porto in the Champions League.

The 23-year-old had loan spells at MK Dons, Barnsley and West Brom before he got a run in the Leicester first-team under Brendan Rodgers in the second half of the 2018/19 season.

He featured 42 times for the Foxes the following season and last season his impressive form earned him a call-up to the England squad.

He made his senior England debut off the bench in a 3-0 friendly win against Wales in October 2020.

Barnes told LCFC.com: "I’ve been here for so many years now, it feels like home. For me, it was a no-brainer. Of course, I wanted to extend my stay here.

"It’s been something that’s been going on in the background and to sign now is great. It’s right at the start of a new season as well, which I know everyone is excited about."
