Kerry fans will be pleased to learn that James O'Donoghue's shoulder injury, suffered in their commanding win over Kildare yesterday in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals, is not as bad as initially feared.
An x-ray revealed that O'Donoghue suffered no serious injuries, but fans had feared the worst when they saw him in a great deal of pain on the pitch being attended to by the physio team.

A statement this afternoon, however, said "the Kerry Medical Team immediately realigned the shoulder and an X-Ray afterwards showed that there was no serious injury sustained.
"He will have a routine MRI Scan and will rest for a few days before beginning rehab and a graduated return to action".
Hopes are that he will be fit enough to take part in their semi-final against Tyrone or Monaghan.
