Ireland playmaker Joey Carbery is in danger of missing Ireland's World Cup opener against Scotland in Japan after being ruled out for between four and six weeks with an ankle injury.
Carbery sustained the injury against Italy last weekend.
John Cooney, Finlay Bealham and Mike Haley have been left out of what is now a 40 man squad for warm weather training in Portugal.
Ireland's next test is against England at Twickenham on Saturday, August 24th.
