Ireland's Jonathan Caldwell has won his first European Tour title by firing a brilliant 64 to take the Scandinavian Mixed by a shot.
He carded 8 birdies and an eagle in the final round, reaching 17 under par to pip Adrian Otaegui.
Alice Hewson finished in third place.
It was the first edition of this mixed tournament for both genders, with 78 men and 78 women taking part in Gothenburg.
Caldwell was part of the Walker Cup team with Rory McIlroy back in 2007.
Part of the Clandeboye club in County Down, 37-year-old Caldwell has laboured hard on the European Tour and Euro Pro Tour to get to this day.
His best finish in 2021 before today was a tie for 21st in Gran Canaria, but he had shown glimpses of what was possible by posting top tens last year at the British Masters, Scottish Championship and Italian Open.
Caldwell gave an emotional interview to the European Tour after his fantastic win.
"The golf club at home will probably go bonkers, so just put the tab on and crack on guys and enjoy!
"My parents obviously, they've been with me the whole way. So I look forward to talking to them tonight."
