Celtic captain Scott Brown says it'll be difficult to replace Jonny Hayes in the dressing room when he leaves the club next month.
The Republic of Ireland international will depart the Scottish champions when his three-year contact expires at the end of June.
Hayes played 26 times for the Hoops this season, scoring in their 2-0 win against rivals Rangers in September. The 32-year-old posted a farewell message to supporters on instagram.
"From the lows of breaking a leg to the highs of winning a treble, the last 3 years have been an enjoyable journey, in which I've worked under some terrific staff and shared a dressing room with some unbelievable guys."
"Football at times brings tough decisions, so I'd like to thank you for all the support received along the way. Stay safe everyone."
Hoops captain Scott Brown responded to the post by saying: "Going to miss you my man. What a man and what a player. Hard going in the dressing room to replace."
While Hayes' former Celtic teammate Mikael Lustig wished the Ireland winger well in his next move: "Honestly the best teammate you can have. Top player and decent stories. Was a pleasure to sit next to you during our years together. All the best in the future my friend."
