Real Madrid forward Kaka has declared his intention to leave the club.

The 31-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder says he does not want to sit on the bench adding he wants the club to help him find a solution.

It was thought that Carlo Ancelotti, his former manager at AC Milan, would give him more of a run of games, but this seems unlikely as Gareth Bale is likely to arrive in the next couple of days.

His public proclamation is sure to spark a transfer scramble for his signature.

But what type of player would prospective clubs get?

Kaka still has plenty of ability and vision but the 2007 World Player of the Year is a shadow of his former self.

His game was built on quick bursts of acceleration and sudden changes of pace. But this speed has gone from his game and has not been compensated by his other attributes.
