The Irish skipper has shown her versatility for both club and country this season.
Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall has used the 26-year-old as full-back and winger on the left side for Arsenal, while Republic of Ireland manager Vera Pauw regularly plays McCabe as a left wing-back.
The Dubliner was also part of the Arsenal side that reached the FA Cup final last week with victory over Brighton, a result that set up a meeting with Chelsea.
Her performances have impressed Arsenal legend Ian Wright, who said McCabe is his favourite player on the Arsenal team right now.
"She’s one of those players where you don’t get less than eight out of 10 from her," Wright said.
" [She] gets on with her game, flies into tackles, great footballer, great crosses, at the moment scoring great goals. I’m loving Katie McCabe at the moment."
McCabe will be back in World Cup qualifying action for the Republic of Ireland at the end of the month against Slovakia and Georgia with the Girls in Green looking to build on their 2-1 win away to Finland.
McCabe will be a guest on next week's episode of The COYGIG Pod on OTB Sports in association with Cadbury FC, official snack partner to the Women's National Team.
