Cork are set to appoint Keith Ricken as the county's new senior football manager.
The St Vincent's man will be ratified for a two-year term at the next county committee meeting.
He succeeds Ronan McCarthy, who stepped down in September.
Ricken's appointment comes following a lengthy process, during which it's understood several names were considered.

However, Ricken has won the race to take over the Rebels senior side, having spent the last three years in charge of the U-20s.
In that time, he guided the county to a memorable All-Ireland success in his first year.
In the 2019 final Cork staged a superb comeback to see off the challenge of Dublin.
He also helped the county to last year's Munster crown.
As well as his exploits with the county, Ricken has also enjoyed success at club and colleges level.
He was at the helm as CIT won their first Sigerson Cup title in 2009.
Ricken also managed his home club, St Vincent's to Premier Intermediate titles in 2006 and 2012.
While a coach has yet to be confirmed, a number of members of Ricken's backroom have been revealed.
The set-up includes James Loughrey, who retired from inter-county football with Cork last winter.
Also involved will Micheál Ó Cróinín, Ray Keane, Barry Corkery and Des Cullinane.
Cork will be hopeful that Ricken will be able to build a senior side capable of challenging in the latter stages of the championship.
They retained their Division Two status earlier this year, before suffering a heavy defeat to Kerry in the Munster final.
Ricken is employed as GAA Development Officer at Munster Technological University.
