Sunderland's interim head coach Kevin Ball will take charge of the side for the Premier League visit of Manchester United on Saturday.

Ball has so far overseen a League Cup victory over Peterborough and a league defeat to Liverpool.

The club say there is no timescale on the appointment of Paolo Di Canio's full-time successor.
