Kildare footballers will meet tonight to discuss the removal of Kieran McGeeney as their manager.
The former Armagh All Ireland winner lost his job by a single vote at last night's county board meeting.
The playing squad say that they will issue a more detailed response after tonight's meeting.

A number of players have already criticised the decision on social media after McGeeney lose out by 29 votes to 28.
The Kildare County Board released a statement earlier today, thanking the manager for his committment during his 6 years in charge.
