Pat Lam has said his Connacht side’s reaction to today’s humiliating defeat at the hands of Saracens is crucial. The Connacht coach was speaking after his side fell to an 11 try defeat against Saracens in today’s Heineken Cup pool game in London. The 64-6 defeat means Connacht are out of European competition. Lam spoke afterwards of the emotions in the dressing room, and how his team need to react, saying:

“I mean, We’re not proud about it. We talked about it in the changing room and guys have spoke and it’s about what you do from here. Every player’s been here at some stage and at the moment it’s our turn and it’s how we respond from this.”
