A late equaliser from Gylfi Sigurdsson helped an injury- hit Tottenham earn a draw at home to sixth-placed Everton.
Spurs were decimated heading into the crucial draw - which leaves them two points above Arsenal in third - with Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and William Gallas out injured.
Emmanuel Adebayor gave the North London side the lead in the first minute but Phil Jagielka equalised for Everton after 15 minutes, heading in a Leighton Baines corner.
Kevin Mirallas put Everton ahead in fantastic style with another solo run in consecutive games but Gylfi Sigurdsson levelled it for Spurs with three minutes to go, reacting first after an Adebayor effort came back off the post.
