League of Ireland First Division side Cabinteely have announced that they will be offering free Leaving Cert grinds to their U19 team.
The Dublin club, which made its League of Ireland debut last season, are teaming up with The Dublin School of Grinds.
In a statement on the club's Facebook page, Cabinteely explained: "[We] have teamed up with The Dublin School of Grinds to offer free Leaving Certificate grinds for our League of Ireland Under 19s Team.
"As part of our player pathway, we at Cabinteely F.C. believe that education is a crucial part in the development of young players.
"The team’s training schedule will reflect this with players studying and attending grinds on Mondays and Wednesdays, training on Tuesdays and Thursdays and playing matches on Saturdays.
"This study/training/play balance will give young players the opportunity to achieve their true potential, not only on the pitch, but also help them to achieve their academic goals."
The club, which plays home games at Stradbrook Road in Blackrock, finished bottom of last season's First Division.
