Miami Heat's LeBron James is set to opt for free agency according to his agent.

The four-time NBA MVP has been linked with a move away from the Heat and his agent Richie Paul has confirmed that the 29-year-old will become a free agent on July 1st.

While, the decision does not mean that James will definitely leave the Heat, it increases the chances of another franchise entering the fray to prise him away from Miami.
