Leinster have lost 15-12 away to Clermont Auvergne in their Heineken Cup pool 5 clash.

Jonny Sexton kicked four penalties in his 100th competitive game for the defending champions who started the game two points behind Clermont.

The win was Clermont's 51st successive home win and ended Leinster's two year unbeaten run in the Cup.

Leinster are second in the pool and 5 points behind Clermont ahead of next week's must-win return game at the Aviva.
