Liverpool have placed a £5 million price tag on Stewart Downing as a possible exit looms.
According to reports, Brendan Rodgers is planning to sell the wideman who famously failed to produce a single goal or assist in his first season at Anfield.
Despite a marginal improvement last season, the Reds are willing to let him go for £15 million less than they originally paid for him.

Liverpool signed Downing for £20 million from Aston Villa in the summer of 2011 and Newcastle are said to be early favourites to land him.
