Liverpool were the highest earning team in the Premier League for the season just gone, as it's been revealed they will be paid more than £97.5 million.

The league has announced the total payments made to each club.

Even this season's lowest earners Cardiff, who earned £62 million, received more money than last season's champions Manchester United.

That is due to the new £5.5 billion broadcasting deal kicking in.
