Romelu Lukaku's Everton future is set to be sealed - at least in the short to medium term.
The striker will become the first ever Toffees player to surpass the £100,000 a week salary mark.
The Belgian's agent Mino Raiola says a contract at Everton is "99.9%" complete.
However, he is making no guarantees regarding the striker's long-term future at Goodison Park.
Raiola, who also represents Mario Balotelli, Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, told talkSport about how close the deal is to completion.
"With Everton, we have 99.9 per cent reached terms. We are talking to the club in a good spirit so we are very hopeful. There are no problems on the way that I foresee," he said.
"I don't see any big problems. It is a question of putting the details on the paper."
Lukaku has scored nine Premier League goals this season for Everton, bringing his overall tally to 70 in all competitions for the club since signing initially on loan in 2013.
The 23-year-old's current deal at Goodison Park runs until June 2019.
In November, his club manager Ronald Koeman had appeared to suggest that Lukaku would have to depart Everton in the long term to fulfil his potential, although the Dutchman later clarified that what he had said was taken out of context in an interview with a Belgian publication.
