Yeovil Town’s Paddy Madden has been called up to the Ireland squad to face Wales in Cardiff on Wednesday.
Madden told the Yoevil Town official website, “I am so proud to be called up to the squad. This is something I have dreamt about since I was a small lad.
“I know a few members of the squad having played with them at other levels for Ireland. I can not wait to meet up with them all tomorrow and fingers crossed I get to show everyone what I can do.”

Marco Tardelli watched the former Bohemians and Shelbourne striker in action for Yeovil on Saturday, against Birmingham.
Madden was the top scorer in League One last season and scored a superb strike in the playoff final at Wembley, against Brentford Town.
Madden's Wembley goal can be seen in the below clip, just after 1.40.
