A man has been arrested for pitch encroachment after attempting to warm up with Manchester City players before this afternoon's Premier League game at Everton.

Dressed in a City kit, the supporter ran along the touchline as players prepared at Goodison Park and attempted to join them on the field.

Stewards were quickly alerted, and the man was led away.

Everton say the arrested man is believed to be from the "London area".
