Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic will miss the start of the Premier League season through injury.

The Serbia centre-half was carried off on a stretcher after hurting his ankle in a pre-season friendly against Sunderland last month.

City said he will be out of action for around 4 to 6 weeks.

But there is better news at Eastlands as Sergio Aguero is expected to be return to training later in the week following a knee injury.
