Man United 2 - 0 West Brom
Manchester United have retained their seven point lead at the top of the Premier League after a 2-0 win at home to West Brom.
United led 1-0 at half time after Gareth McAuley diverted an Ashley Young cross into his own net.
West Brom had a few half-chances to get an equaliser but Robin Van Persie settled any nerves when he came off the bench to seal the win late on with a sublime curling strike from just inside the box.
It was also United's first clean sheet in six fixtures.
Norwich 3 - 4 Man City
Ten man Manchester City won 4 - 3 away to Norwich to stay in touch with United.
Samir Nasri was sent off after an altercation with Sebastian Bassong just before half-time as City led 2 - 1
Edin Dzeko had grabbed an early brace on his recall to the City team to put them in control before Anthony Pilkington pulled one back.
Sergio Aguero was also on target for City to make it 3 - 1 and the fourth went down as a Mark Bunn own goal.
Russel Martin scored a brace for Norwich either side of that own goal but despite a spirited fight back, City withstood the pressure to stay seven points behind United.
Stoke 3 - 3 Southampton
Stoke came from two goals down to draw 3-3 at home to Southampton.
Cameron Jerome scored in the 90th minute to maintain Stoke's unbeaten record at the Britannia this season.
The Saints had taken a 3 - 1 lead into the break with goals from Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez and an Andy Wilkinson own goal, with former Southampton striker Kenwyn Jones getting Stoke's solitary first half goal.
But the Potters fought back in the second half with a header from Matthew Upson and a 30-yard strike from Jerome.
However, they also finished with ten men after Steven Nzonzi was shown red.
