Former Connacht and Ireland number 8 Noel Mannion says he cannot understand why Eddie O'Sullivan has not been interviewed for the position of the provinces head coach.

The former Ireland coach has been quoted in today's papers as saying it is disappointing not to get the opportunity to lay out his vision for the province.

Mannion has outlined his bemusement with the situation.
