Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has revealed he was subjected to sickening racial abuse after the club's Europa League Final defeat.
United lost the match to Villarreal in Poland in a penalty shoot-out.
Rashford detailed the abuse on his Twitter page.
"At least 70 racial slurs on my social accounts counted so far. For those working to make me feel any worse than I already do, good luck trying," he wrote.
The 23-year-old added:
"Iโm more outraged that one of the abusers that left a mountain of monkey emojis in my DM is a maths teacher with an open profile. He teaches children!! And knows that he can freely racially abuse without consequenceโฆ"
It's not the first time Rashford has suffered disgusting racial abuse online.
Back in January, Greater Manchester police investigated messages sent to the England striker.
Football engaged in a four-day blackout from social media at the end of last month to take a stand against online abuse and trolling.
United have added their own comment on their Twitter page, which read:
"Following the #UEL final, our players were subjected to disgraceful racist abuse. If you see any form of abuse or discrimination, act and report it."
