Mayo have confirmed that Cillan O'Connor suffered dislocated shoulder during yesterdays All Ireland semi final win over Tyrone in Croke Park.

The forward who has scored 6 -14 in the Championship this year picked up the damage early in the game and no timeline has been given for his recovery.

James Horan sides won 1-16 to 13 points against a Tyrone team that started well but faded following the loss of Stephen O'Neill through injury late in the first half.

Horan told me  he was pleased with how his side grew into the game.
